MyFundAccounting is an online fund accounting software package, specifically designed for Church Treasurers.

To ease setup, the Church of England approved nominal code structure can be initialised which ensures that you have the correct income and expenditure codes to hand and will also guarantee that your Return of Parish Finance report is structured exactly as it needs to be.

A variety of transaction assistants have been designed to make the most difficult of transactions easy to master, guiding you through the process step-by-step. Additionally, other input screens offer more flexibility and speedier input for users that are more comfortable with charity accounts.

Reduce errors by importing transactions from your online bank accounts. With MyFundAccounting you can communicate directly with your online banking provider using the open banking facility or import items from a CSV download of your monthly statements. Create links between the imported transaction details and MyFundAccounting to determine which income and expenditure codes they should be allocated to and then automatically memorise these links to speed up input of reoccurring items.

Easily manage Payroll, store employee details, calculate and record payments including expenses, National Insurance, Pension and Tax deductions, deliver payslips, submit details to the HMRC and generate P60’s all from within MyFundAccounting.Online.

Ease Administration

Produce a variety of financial reports easily and simply at the click of a button, including those required by the Charity Commission. Choose to view them on screen, print physical copies or produce them as PDF files, for easy distribution.

Generate the Return of Parish Finance report, with all the required financial and organisation information, which you can then print and submit directly to Church House, all at the click of a button.

At Year-End produce your Trustees Annual Report by exporting several of our financial reports to Word. This creates a combined document that you can then customise by adding your own introduction and conclusion statements, add branding and images along with any additional information you wish to share. You can also choose to include the automated Charts and Graphs, to gain a visual representation or your financial position.

Using integration with Microsoft 365, you can attach receipts, invoices, and any other supporting documents to its relevant transaction on MyFundAccounting. This enables you to locate items easily and store them in a central shared location.

Raise sales invoices for weddings, funerals, room booking etc that feature your logo and a colour scheme of your choosing. Distribute them via email and attached a payment link to allow payments to be made online.

MyFundAccounting comes with a unique ‘Testing Area’ that enables you to add temporary transactions to the database to see what effect they have upon your accounts - perfect for ensuring that year-end adjustments have the desired effect. If you’re happy with the changes that have been made, you’ll be given the option to retain the changes you’ve made, or you can discard them and return to how things were originally.

The ’Rollback’ feature gives you peace of mind to remove a bulk of transactions or undo an action made in error. Choose the specific date and time up wish to return to, and the date will be restored to that point. For example, if you incorrectly reconciled your bank account or inputted a months’ worth of transactions twice you can pick the time of day that preceded this event and “rollback” to it.

The dual authorisation feature enables you to easily handle payments that require more than one individual’s approval. Removing the need to use a specific bank account provider or pay any additional fees. A log of requests is also maintained, allowing you to easily keep track of pending transactions.

In a development funded by the Archbishops' Council using a grant from the Church Commissioners, MyFundAccounting.Online will connect to The Church Organiser to automatically record income received from life events, ticket sales and room bookings - removing the need to duplicate input.
