Training Days
Each year we hold a range of training courses across the UK on our Finance, Donations and Membership Co-ordinator packages. All of our training has been designed to help you get the most out of your time by getting the most out of our software. Each course has been developed and improved over a number of years by listening to our customers and evaluating each training day.
Courses are delivered by qualified and experienced trainers, and run from 9am till 4pm with lunch and refreshments provided. Each attendee has access to the use of a laptop, giving you the opportunity to follow along with the trainers or simply watch the screen and take notes. Written materials are also provided for you to take home.
We currently hold courses in Wolverhampton, Edinburgh, York, Dartford, Watford, Winchester, Heathrow, and Leeds.
Wolverhampton courses cost £135 Inc. VAT
Other courses cost £165 Inc. VAT
However due to the current pandemic we are hosting online training sessions in order to help churches and charities increase donations and get the most out of their use of MyGiving and MyFundAccounting. The dates, times and what’s included in each session is detailed below:

Module 1
Overview of Fund Accounting, Adding nominal codes, Adding Funds, Financial year dates and Entering Starting balances
Module 2
Recording income transactions, Recording Expenditure transactions, Setup Agency accounts, Recording Agency transactions and Finding, Editing and Reversing transactions
Module 3
Memorised transactions Template transactions, Bank and Fund transfers, Open banking payment and Selection of reports
Module 4
Set suppliers, customers, products for invoices, Creating invoices with payment links, Creating and posting Standing orders, Importing from Bank Statements - CSV and Online bank statements
Module 5
Bank Reconciliation, Creating budgets, Budget reports and A selection of reports
If you are producing end of year accounts on a Receipts and Payments basis the following modules are for you:
Module 6
Cost Centres including a cost centre report, A selection of reports, Trustees Annual Report, Sandbox mode, Rollback and Yearend
If you are producing end of year accounts on a Prepayment and Accrual basis the following modules are for you:

Our Finance Co-ordinator Start-up course has been designed for people who want to start ‘from scratch’ and who may not be familiar with fund accounting or computerised accounts. The role of a treasurer can be an onerous and a difficult task and sometimes you can feel that there is nowhere to turn for an answer.
