MyFoodBank.Online – Managing your volunteer profile
March 2026In 2024, Data Developments launched MyFoodBank.Online. Inspired by firsthand volunteering experiences, we’ve harnessed the power of technology to create cutting-edge software tailored to the needs of foodbanks. This includes helping to simplify processes and minimise stress towards daily administrative tasks faced by foodbanks of all sizes.
One specific feature incorporated into our software is volunteer profiles. Volunteers can use their profile to view their parcels outside of the app, change their password, and set up their availability schedule, among other useful things. In this month’s blog article, we’ll be going through how to do this through the MyFoodBank.Online website.

In this month’s blog article, we’ll be going through how to do this through the MyFoodBank.Online website.
How It Works
Before beginning, go to the MyFoodBank.Online website and log in via the homepage. You will need to use your volunteer user account details and the following link: https://www.myfoodbank.online/volunteer. If you don’t have a user account already setup, please refer to our online help article here: Setting up a new volunteer and their login details - My FoodBank Online. On the volunteer dashboard, a menu will appear on the left side of the screen with three options to select: My Profile, My Deliveries and Packing List.
In My Profile, you can change your contact/volunteer details, password and shift availability. Contact details can be changed under the Address section. Some of your volunteer details may have already been entered by your employer under Volunteer Details. However, you can change these if and when necessary. This includes who your account is for, your volunteer assignment, or your profile picture and ID document. If you would like to change your password, click the Change Password checkbox under the Address section. This will reveal the password section. Enter your new password into the designated textboxes, along with your new password question and answer.
If you would like to change your shift availability, click the Availability and Unavailability checkboxes underneath the Password checkbox. Here, you can set the days and times of the weeks you are available/unavailable, along with frequency. In the Availability section, you can also either set your availability as All Day on the selected dates or From a specific time range you enter. The Unavailability section can be used to add holidays to your schedule. Make sure to click the Save button to save the information you’ve entered. You can then see your schedule at the bottom of your profile page under the Availability heading. You can use the dropdown menu in the top right corner to switch between your availability and unavailability schedules. You can also remove any of these schedules using the Delete button.
Please note that your foodbank’s administrator can’t assign parcels to you unless you’re marked as available.

In My Deliveries, you will see an overview of your scheduled shifts and the date of your next shift. You can also view which of your assigned parcels are pending or historic, either under My Deliveries or Packing List. On the Packing List screen, you can change the status of the parcels to Pending, Packed or Delivered.
